The Script
INTERVENTION MONDAY is an experimental theatre troupe that performs every Monday at the Ossington.
The work itself, the action, a kind of participation, is as remote from anything artistic as the site is, the separation between life and art, and artist and audience is eliminated opening new traditional methodologies with a huge potential, demanded by society. The resulting praxis creates only boring or interesting opportunities, fascinating or negligible possibilities, undeniable challenges, and, offers strategies for individuals to divest themselves of the stresses and tedium of sobriety.
Glamorous instances of decadent and beatific self indulgence present the possibility of an assault the banality of everyday life. Patrons loll and froth like so much magical detritus from one moment to the next taking themselves and each other, initiates and dabblers alike, through the glorious pantomime of revolutionary leisure.
